phayak street markets

Have a look at these pictures. The colours, smells and flavours of Phayak food. This market (only on Fridays) sells all kinds of street food. Linda had sticky rice with pork ribs, while I had fried chicken...well sort of...Knowing almost no Thai, I can't be expected to always know what I am eating (I will eat almost anything as long it is edible). Went to this stall that sold fried chicken. It had fried wings, fried drums, etc...Bought a packet of fried chicken pieces (or at least I thought they were fried chicken pieces). Happily eating them until the third piece when I thought to myself "hmm, they are quite juicy.."...Then something clicked in my head. I immediately looked at the chicken pieces more closely and to my horror, they were chicken bums (parson's nose, chook's ass, chicken backside, etc...)!!! #$@%%)(@#@$@%!!! Immediately threw them away as I was not a big fan of them (not satisfied, went back to buy fried chicken drums...)
