Peru's Challenge frequently gives out clothes to the people in the Pumamarca community. We set up tables with clothes, socks/sockings, shoes, hats, jumpers and jackets for ladies/men/kids. It was an interesting evening. Many people queued outside the room and only 2-3 are allowed into the room at a time to pick up an item each. Once they had selected their item of choice, they must remain in the room until everyone else got their turns. In this way, we can ensure that people don't come back for a second round. It was fairly chaotic towards the end and we had to say no when they asked for a second item (our social worker's strict instruction).
