What did we do at school today? The kindy started this morning. They are for kids from 2-5. Some of the mothers come to school to help out too as no teachers are allocated for kindy. These kids are so cute!! With my limited spanish, I tried to engage in a conversation with them and end up just playing toys together. Today, we have to continue weeding...yes we haven't finish it yet...don't get many helpers as most people do not want to work under the sun. You can see in the photos Alvin hard at work! I started harvesting snow peas. Now I know why snow peas are so expensive in Australia...hand picked...hard work. After 3 hours, I was so dead!! The last photo is Mark, our volunteer manager, testing the snow peas I picked. We give the snow peas to the kids. There are potatoes too and I have no idea when we are going to harvest them. No machine to help so it will be tough!!!
