Hi Linda! (and Alvin who we hope to meet someday)

We just got your blog address and have had a wonderful time reading and looking at your fabulous photos! You've certainly been blogging hard, and we appreciate it as we know the effort it takes! (hopefully you've found a good internet connection)

The school and the kids look amazing (your hygiene efforts appear to be working well as the kids look so much cleaner/healthier than the kids we remember from Peru). Hopefully you manage to stay healthy too! (though sickness is pretty inevitable...you'll get through it, don't worry!).

Glad to see that you've gotten out to see all the amazing Incan sites around Peru - it sounds like you have a great leader/tour guide in Selvy.

The photo of the showerhead brought back memories of trying to shower under a lukewarm trickle, constantly scared of electrocution. If you can find somewhere with a gas shower system, use it as much as you can.

We are so sorry to hear about the passing of your grandmother, your tribute to her was very moving.

From the sound of it, you're making the most of every day with each other, and you're definitely out of your standard work routine. These are the times that memories are made of - we're so happy for you that you made the effort to make more of your life and others!!
