Look at this monstrous house gecko!!! The picture on the right is the normal size house gecko that we always see around the house. But look at the one on the left. It is the biggest house gecko we have seen! It's at least 25cm long. By the way, the magnification is the same for both photos as we are not trying to use camera tricks to create stories for our blog. Alvin wanted to put a ruler beside it to prove the point but I was not keen at all. Won't want it to drop off the wall or lose it's tail when alarmed. The first time we met our monstrous gecko friend was dark at night, right outside our room. I am sure you can imagine the fright it gave us. Well, house gecko eat insects such as mosquitoes so we are hoping that it will eat a lot more mosquitoes because of it's size! We are happy to share the corridor with it for this reason.
