The children have 2 days off school as it is public holidays on Thursday and Friday. Keeping kids entertained for 4 days straight (including weekends) is not easy. Today we took the big girls out for crabbing at the rice field. On the way there, they introduced us to wild fruits of the forest. No idea what we were eating but they tasted alright. It was a beautiful day and the view of the rice fields was mesmerising. Crabbing in the rice field is a muddy business. You get down on all fours to catch the little crabs. As you can see in the photos, the girls are very good at this. It was a fruitful trip with a bagful of snails and crabs for dinner!
