The main reason for going to Chiang Mai is to visit a macadamia plantation at Wiang Pa Pao, which is 90 km north of Chiang Mai city. Paul Liou is the first to introduce macadamia to Thailand and has been very successful at growing and producing macadamia. He kindly showed us around his huge plantation and also let us to have a taste of the beautiful nut. Yum! House of Mercy Foundation (HOMF) will be growing macadamia at Phetchabun as part of the self-sufficient project.
