goodbye ban meata

Time flies and it was time for us to leave Mercy. We have been here for almost 2 months and have became very comfortable in this place. The beautiful people at Mercy have made our stay memorable and the children just steal your hearts away. We left early morning to catch a bus to Phayakkhaphum Phisai (where Samuel's House is located). That morning it was pouring so heavily and you can see from the photos that both of us were wet as we were running around saying our goodbyes. These are some of the people we like to acknowledge and thank for our stay at Ban Meata, Phetchabun. Rod Dunk, the founding director of Mercy International/House of Mercy Foundation. Thank you for the wonderful opportunity to volunteer at Ban Meata. You are such a man of faith and we have learnt so much from you. Miss Pawinee Angnoi, the beautiful and amazing lady who heads the entire House of Mercy Foundation in Thailand. You have such a big heart for the children and have sacrificed so much to give these children a better life. Ron and Colleen Tiller, our weekend buddies for swensen's ice-cream. We admired you for spending 2 years at HOMF, giving your time and finances to advance the good work of HMOF and we always enjoy your company. Miss JIP, our dear guesthouse carer, always cleaning after us, making sure there are cut fruits in the fridge ready for us, teaching us Thai, etc etc... Khob khun maak maak. Kit tung ban meata!
