bamboo rafting

 

 

 

 

 

Went bamboo rafting down the Mae Taman river near the elephant camp. The river was running fairly fast due to the rainy season. A little scary initially since there isn't much to the raft except for a few pieces of bamboo being tied together and floating on the water. There were 2 men with bamboo sticks controlling the raft as we made our journey down the scenic river. The scenery is beautiful, with misty mountains and lush rainforest.
