While at Chiang Mai, we took the opportunity to visit not one but two elephant conservation parks. Elephants are pretty awesome creatures. They are enormous yet can very gentle. The elephant performances were great. The elephants were showing us how they work in the forests (mainly for the timber industry), playing football, playing musical instruments, painting, etc...They are very intelligent animals. Elephants are a must if you visit Thailand.
