lineas de nasca

Flew over the Nasca lines today in a light aircraft. Smallest plane that we have ever been in, one pilot plus 3 passengers. The views were magnificent! The Nasca lines were extraordinary!!! (But must say that it's not that easy to spot.) The plane ride was stomach churning though. Both Linda and myself were feeling sick about halfway into the flight. The reason for this is that the plane had to do very tight left/right turns and twists so that passengers on both sides of the plane could get to see the Nasca lines without leaning to the other side. Good thing we both held it in and did not have to use the plastic bags that were provided in the plane. One more thing...there was a plane crash about 3 weeks ago when a light aircraft with 5 french tourists flew over the Nasca lines, killing everyone on board. A few days ago, another aircraft had to do an emergency landing on the main motorway. Oops...good thing we didn't know about these news before our flight over the Nasca lines.
