The school put up a farewell party for us. We had speeches and performances, followed by presentation of cards, flowers and certificates. The parents also cooked us a special lunch...baked potatoes (harvested from the school vegie patch), fried freshwater trouts, and heaps of fresh salad. So hard to part with everyone since we have been here for 8 weeks getting to know the kids in school and the people in the community...
